Curiosity for the Pune smART Week reaches the Peak

Pune– Punekars are gearing up for the upcoming Pune smART Week starting tomorrow 14th February 2019. This 10 day event is organized by Pune Smart City Development Corporation Limited (PSCDCL). The event promises an array of programs, events, workshops, competitions and installations in the field of art & design, dance & music, films & theatre and other media. Pune smART week endeavours to transform the public venues, cultural centres and parks in the heart of the city, into creative places for everyone and anyone to come together, connect and celebrate, for people across all age-groups, professional backgrounds and economic strata. All the events are absolutely free for all.

Dr. Rajendra Jagtap, CEO, Pune Smart City said “We, at PSCDCL wish to connect with the common citizens at all levels, and not just at the infrastructural level. We have undertaken several endeavours to go the extra step in achieving our long term goal of being a people-centric development initiative and rebuilding a city that is smart and sustainable. Further to this objective, we have planned a 10-day long activity, with predominant 7 days termed as Pune smART Week starting from 14th February to the 24th February of 2019.”

Through creative art, it aims to encourage the people to come out of their digitally enclosed world, and into the open spaces where people can creatively interact and enjoy.
