Amenity spaces lying vacant and ignored have been selected to provide recreational activities to the citizens. The objective of the placemaking project is to provide theme based facilities which would be innovative and dynamic than those of a typical garden. Each Placemaking site would have design elements, furniture, spaces designed suitable to the designated theme of activities and create a platform for public participation.
Site name ‘Park For Specially Abled’ Balewadi Sr no 3/5,3/6 is designed for theme ‘Park For Specially Abled’
The objective is to provide for a dedicated facility for the specially abled with indoor and outdoor activities. The facility will have play equipment which will allow kids to experience movement irrespective of their disability, the softscape will stimulate the senses and spaces for social interaction.
