Pune Smart City Development Corporation Limited has been conferred with the SKOCH Order-of-Merit Award for Smart Cities, another feather in the cap of PSCDCL. It has been rated and qualified on parameters such as jury evaluation and popular voting by citizens.
PSCDCL has thus been selected for the SKOCH Award through participating in its stringent evaluation process. It is this process that sets SKOCH Award apart, from other awards and certifies that the final recipient is indeed amongst the best in India.
This selection and announcement is made by the SKOCH group and the award is conferred on PSCDCL during the 52nd SKOCH Summit (21st-23rdJune 2018) with the underlying theme of State of Governance, at Constitution Club of India, Rafi Marg, New Delhi and the winning team of PSCDCL was invited to receive this honor.
While conveying his thoughts Dr. Rajendra Jagtap, CEO, PSCDSCL was quoted saying, Pune Smart City is marching toward enhancing livability for its citizens. The SKOCH award has stringent criteria and the award to PSCDCL is a national level recognition which has certainly brought encouragement to all Punekars and to those who work in the Smart City Projects. This motivates the entire ecosystem to work more vigorously with enthusiasm in implementing all forthcoming projects.
Mr. Manojit Bose, Chief Knowledge Officer, PSCDCL who received the order of merit award on behalf of Pune Smart City at the hands of CEO SKOCH group Dr. Gursharan Dhanjal, said, PSCDCL is pleased to be honored with the SKOCH order of merit 2018 in the Smart Cities category. For a young organization like PSCDCL, the recognition is a matter of pride and reaffirmation of all our efforts.
PSCDCL has received this award for the third time in the last two months. It has recently won national level three awards for different projects at Smart Cities India Awards 2018 and Best ICT award at BW Business World Digital India Summit & Awards 2018.
